Network not working !!!

Hi, been following the Network articles at this site, and
thanks for the terrific information to Michael Furdyk. I have
two DLINK ISA combo cards model DE-220PCT in two
different pentium (with WIN95) machines, installed
hardware, software, etc.. on one machine at bootup these
errors I get indicate i'm missing nwnp32.dll and msnp32.dll
however both files are on both machines ??? Using RG58
cable with terminators and no hub, tried with crossover
cat5 cable (no hub) same error. And I followed the
instructions of DLINK with the latest drivers installed and
the online network articles here. What am i doing wrong ?

Are the files in the Windows/System directory?

I had a similar problem with ISA and PCI DLink cards. You may have to reinstall the files off your Win95 CD. Do a manual reinstall of your NIC and replace the files from your Win95 disk. Hopefully, that'll fix the problem. You may also need to set your protocols for both machines and bind them.

Network IS working fianlly, thanks for all the help from everyone. Deinstalled all drivers, reinstalled drivers, and WIN95 files when asked for. The culprit was Microsoft protocol logon, it kept going to that instead of Windows logon protoco. Why i dont know but seems to be working now.
