Hi. I just got a hold of an old Fujitsu Pen PC. 486 at 50MHZ, running DOS 6.2 and Windows For Pen Computing 1.0, NO pcmcia card. Now, it never came with its original bootable floppy drive. I do have an external 3.5" drive though, that connects to parrarel port. The problem is that i need to have driver for it loaded in order to use it and since i have no way of getting the driver on the hard disk, i was wondering, if there would be a way to connect it to my desktop from DOS, using its serial or parrarel port.
If yes, what exactly do i need to achieve that ?
I dont need it to be a full time network, i just need to get one file from my desktop to PenPC.
Any replies on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Yes, that can be done, you use the dos programs Interserver & Interlink, and a serial or parallel cable. The exact use of the progs I don't know, but if you look in the help files you will probably figure it out.

Good Luck,

M@rsm@n is right but I think
you need a null-modem cable.
Any good computer store will
either have a cable or an adapter.
