Hi all!
I recently built my first system off of barebones kit I bought online. Well, needless to say the tower they sent me has crappy airflow and the case temperatures are a little more than I had hoped for.

Anyhow, I just purchased a new tower with five fan slots. Two 80mm rear fans, Front 80mm fan, top 92mm fan, and side 92mm fan. I am very noise-concious and wanna buy some good QUIET fans. I have a Thermaltake fan on this current tower and I absolutely hate the thing. It cools good, but it's like having the vacuum cleaner on.

But basically I been searching around and it seems like the Vantec Stealth fans might be a good choice but I wanted to know if anybody had used these or knows someone who has used them and could tell me wether or not they are worth getting. I plan on getting three 80mm, and two 92mm. They only hit about 21dBA and move 27-28 CFM. These fans will be cooling an Athlon XP 1800, 512mb of PC2100 DDR, MSI GeForce 4 Ti4600. Will they get the job done???

Oh, I also forgot to mention that I do not overclock anything but the GeForce. I am perfectly happy with the normal performance of the Athlon 1800.

Hi Dante. Welcome to Hardware Central (http://discussions.hardwarecentral.com).

Those fans you found are already very good. 21dBA is extrmely quiet and 27 - 28 CFM is plenty good if you're going to have two of each. I'm sure this will suffice for you...

Good luck! http://discussions.hardwarecentral.com/smile.gif
