I upgraded to Media Player 11 and about 10% of my tracks come up with this message when I try to play them:
The file or device that you are trying to use requires a component of Windows Media Player to be upgraded. Click Upgrade to download and install the reqired component.
I click upgrade and it just sits there saying 'connecting to server' but doesn't get anywhere. Then the only way I can start again is to force quit Media Player.
The tracks are legitimate songs from my own CDs. I don't really want to bother digging them out a ripping them again.
