Replacement battery Inspiron E1705

Hello,

I need to replace my laptop battery. I looked over the prices and have seen big difference in prices from Dell website, compared to other websites (Dell's are more expensive...). Not sure how safe are other websites. Anybody knows a good website other than Dell to order Dell laptop batteries?

A lot of those replacement battery places are selling refurbished batteries. I have bought both-refurbished and new. Frankly, I have not had good experiences with the refurbs-either they just don't take a full charge, or they don't hold the charge for very long.

That being said, there are lots of sites that sell OEM batteries. Just read the fine print carefully as to whether what is being offered is original manufacture or rebuilt. The OEM's do cost more, but I have done better that way.
