Hi,

I have mixed format CDROM. It is a game, there are data and some sound tracks. My office computer with Windows NT recognizes CDROM and shows data files (CDROM drive ir Mitsumi 48x, I think). But when I try to read this disk in my home PC with Acer 50x max and Windows 98SE I can see only sound tracks (well, I can play them too)...

Can anyone tell me if it is a hardware problem (maybe I need new drivers or firmware etc.) or it is issue of OS?

Thank you in advance for you suggestions.

It is most likely a firmware problem but it could also be a driver conflict. When I had Packet CD installed on my PC my DVD could not read any but the first session of a multisession disk. Remove the drivers and voila it could read the multisession disks again.

Hope you solve the problem
