Just put in a (new) PLEXTOR 8/4/32 a couple weeks ago. The problem is, when ejecting a cd
the tray is very slow (sluggish) and sometimes stops about 3/4 of the way out, and sometimes it hangs about half way and I have to move it side to side to get it to come all the way out. Most of the time it stops with about an inch of cd still in inside burner. Going in there's no problems. Any body else have this problem? Thanks for the replies in advance!

Yeah that's not right. I'd suggest you exchange it or RMA that sucker.

That drive is not supposed to be doing that. It is defective so try to return it for a replacement.
