Networking Problems

I recently installed a LAN to connect my 2 home PCs, one running on 98 and the other 95. The first thing I noticed is that the 98 PC takes much longer to start up. Any thoughts?
My main problem is that although the file sharing works, I can't seem to use the printer connected on the 95 PC form the 98 PC.

Adding a NIC makes W98 take longer time to start, that's normal.
To make the printer work you first have to make sure that you have printer-sharing installed (network properties -> File and print sharing), then you have to install the printer on both computers (one local and one network). There shouldn't be any more to it.
