How can I set a password before Windows 98 boots?? I can't find an option for it in BIOS

Windows 98 deosn't have that option installed. May be you can find a third party application that will enable passwords for you.

Toolbox, I think he is refering to a BIOS boot password. I personally thought all BIOS' had one, but I could be wrong. Usually it's under a security setting...

yes u can set a password from BIOS... i dont remeber exactly but when u enter the BIOS mode go throu all of the settings, i think it might b under security, its there somewhere u just gotaa look

another thing to look out for is after you set the BIOS password, look for an option that says something like "Password access" and make sure you change it from setup only to system as well, otherwise it only asks for a password when you try to get into the bios.
