cd rom

When I reboot the computer, bios recognizes my cd rom. However, once in windows it doesnt show up nor can I get my computer to recognize my cd rom? (It worked fine til I recently moved, and now I am unable to use the cd rom.

Does the cd-rom appear in the DEVICE MANAGER?
If you've not come across the device manager before, you need to right-click on the MY COMPUTER icon on the desktop and select PROPERTIES - you should then see a tab marked with it. All the devices that Windows can find attached to your PC should be listed in there (in one way or another) - if Windows can find the cd-rom but there is a problem, then the info will be here...
