Correct me if I'm wrong everyone, but isnt OSR2 an OEM package, thus you could only get it preloaded on machines you buy retail? As far as I know you cant buy it.

I think you might be right about the OEM thing. If possible try to find a friend or associate who has an MSDN (MicroSoft Developers Network) subscription. They'll have a Windows 95 OSR2 disk in their bundle. Good luck.

CORRECT - OSR2 is available as OEM only.

looks like its win98 for me!! u can turn off that horrible thing where it uses internet explorer for everything right?

OSR2 is OEM only, but it comes bundled with either a hard drive or mainboard, so if you were planning to upgrade either of those you could pick up OSR2 with it.

In Win98, IE4 integration can be disabled with a small util from http://www.annoyances.org/win98/features/integration.html .
