Hey guys,
I've got a client with a ThinkPad I series 1400. On boot up it won't display anything and I get 5 short beeps spaced apart by about one second and then the computer shuts down. Anyone know where I can get my hands on a copy of the beep codes for this laptop? I don't know what bios it has but it might be Award. Thanks for you help guys.

Found it after exhaustive research :þ

Here ya go

Five short beeps,
power-on indicator
turns on then off and
LCD is blank.

1. Ensure that "System Boot Drive" in the "System Security" menu of the BIOS Utility is not set to "Drive A'.

2. Battery
