Does anyone know why IE5 places so many damm directories .... of what seems to be the same cache files... in multiple subdirectories on my computer (Windows-Temp. Internet Files directory???) Each of these multiple subdirectories has the same crap in it...what up???

Well thats one of the reasons to get mad at Microsoft, they always make things complicated, but GOOD.
But I sometimes hate Internet Explorer since it crashes like every 25 mins or so.

Each "directory" is for one day of the "Verlauf" (in German), the history. I'm not sure if they actually contain multiple copies of files. I think they are ActiveX classes, and speed up surfing a lot when you come back to sites where you've been shortly before. I don't know exactly how it works, though.
