Hello everyone;
I'm in need of a good downloader. I've been using Accelerator but half the time it says the file I'm trying to download doesn't exist. The file is a game called "Soldier of Fortune". I'm trying Gozilla but it takes a long time too. Now I realize that the Soldier of Fortune is a large .exe file of 90MB, so is there a download program out there that can deal with such a large file by downloading it in sections? I also need this program to be relatively simple to understand; I'm getting there but I'm still a little green yet. Thanks eagl.
P.S. Could you please send a few websites for download programs?

If you're referring to Download Accelorator, you're already using one of the best.

There's also GetRight, GoZilla, JetCar/FlashGet, Mass Downloader, but after trying all those, I ended up using Download Accelorator for reasons of stability, simplicity within it's advanced features and efficiency.

If you're attempting to download from Warez sites (which are illegal by the way, thought I should mention it since you were concerned about copied Windows CD's), don't be supprised if the links don't work. They're not reliable in that way.

Hello Bink;
Once again, thanks for the info. As I mentioned yesterday, I was going to try FastGet but now I'm back to Accelerated Download. Man oh man, I just couldn't get the other downloader to work right. Thanks again for replying; eagl.
