I would like to make a nice web page, but before I want to add a nice flash intro too. I don't know which program to use, and which is the best for that.

macromedia flash, director or fireworks would probably cut it. i'd go for the first one.

The only true alternative to Macromedia Flash is Adobe LiveMotion. You can tell by LiveMotion's (non)popularity that Flash is definitely the way to go. http://discussions.hardwarecentral.com/wink.gif
Oh by the way, there are 3rd party tools such as Swish ( http://www.swishzone.com ), Swift3D ( http://www.swift3d.com/ ), and Amorphium Pro ( http://www.amorphium.com/home.html )to help you out with the animation. Good luck!

MAcromedia Flash4 has built in support in newer versions of IE an NS Flash 5 would keep prompting to install the "plugin" so stick with Flash4 .Just wanted to add that "INTROs" are not as well recieved nowadays as they were a little while back.FLASH used within a webpage is great but having to go thru an "INTRO" each time a person visits your site may turnoff repeat visitors, even if you have a "skip intro" button.
