When saving pictures off the internet it always saves as a bitmap, even if teh files online is a jpeg.
Also it says "untitled" and I have to name each picture rather than taking the default from the website.
Any Ideas ??

If you're using IE to browse the net, this happens if the jpeg pictures didn't load completely. Click the Reload/Refresh button to load the pictures again. Also, make sure that the option to Check for newer version of files is selected as automatic. http://discussions.hardwarecentral.com/wink.gif

Deleting temporary internet files resolved the problem.

If you have a reasonably good net connection, I recommend setting IE to always delete temp files on exit.

Is this an IE setting or something that has to be done with a program like Xteq or tweakUI ??

I don't think either one will help with the bmp thing all they do is save you the trouble of going into the registry to make same changes so you can't corrupt your registry if your not handy with it.

I wish M$ would just have let IE clears the cache automatically once it's full. Netscape has already come out with this nice feature in NC.
Thanks for letting us know about this 54regcab.
