Small Linksys w/LAN question

Ok, I have a linksys router/switch w/4 ports. I have DHCP enabled. I have 2 computers on the router/switch. Both computers do configure for an IP, and can access the internet. I have 2 folders on each system shared, with full permissions. Both computers are set to Workgroup=Workgroup.

The problem: I cannot access either computer from either computer. Under My Network Places>Entire Network>Microsoft Windows Network>Workgroup, I can see both computers, but access says it is not accessible. The specific error is this:

Workgroup

\\Self2 is not accessible
The network path was not found

Any ideas what I am missing?

There might have been an error with the bridging. I had the same problem with my network, so I went back through my router and reconfigured the briding.

is your protocols up to par? Is file and print sharing enable? Are you entering unique ip addresses for each pc? What OS are you running? Do you may need to add Netbui in your protocol stack! Is you subnet mask the same for each pc? Are you running peer to peer or will you run a server?

I am running a TCP/IP Stack Protocol.

Quote:
Is file and print sharing enable?
Yes

Quote:

The Linksys Router is running DHCP. The machines have received IPs of 192.168.111.100 & 192.168.111.101, so yes, they are individual.

Quote:
What OS are you running?
W2K Professional & W2K Server w/out DHCP.

Quote:

Yes, 255.255.255.0. Both machines are identical.

Quote:

Peer to peer.

Any other questions or ideas? I do not think I should have to run NetBeui, that is why I am using TCP/IP, correct?
