What game(s) are you playing now? And what was the last game you finished?

I'm curious about what HWC members are playing right now and played recently. If you can provide links, even better.

Usually, I try to finish one game before I move on to the next. But the three games I'm playing right now are so different from each other I generally play whichever one suits my mood at the time.

For classic FPS action I'm playing Soldier of Fortune 2:

http://www.ravensoft.com/soldier2.html

This game looks incredible on my new Geforce4 and it has some really cool mission based levels -- though very light on the strategy and heavy on the action and gore. Multiplayer is a blast too.

I also recently picked up and started Syberia. It's a classic point-and-click adventure with a really relaxing pace, gorgeous artwork, rich story and tricky puzzles:

Syberia

For some reason, the official Syberia game site is down, but you can link to it later, once it's fixed, from this publishers site.

And, of course, when I want to raise hell and crank the MP3s there's GTA3 for the PC. I'm about half-way through Staunton and it's a total blast:

GTA3

The last couple games I finished were Jedi Knight 2:

JK2

JK2 started off really boring but got better and better as it went along. Light Saber fights and force powers are a blast. I wouldn't recommend playing it on hard like I did though.....some parts were really painful to get through. I never really got into the multiplayer on this one.

And the game I finished before that was Freedom Force:

Freedom Force

Freedom Force was a total blast. It's funny as hell, totally original, and highly customizable. It's a superhero game that really works -- combining squad based tactical strategy with role playing. I recommend it highly.

So far, it has my vote for game-of-the-year -- GTA3 is up there too though.

How do?!

Weeellll..... I am still playing Delta Force 1,2 &3. Before I seem to finish a campaign, I end up doing a reinstall - for any number of reasons - and as I haven't saved the games I then 'have' to start over. A bit like a junkie teasing himself ..... One day I will finish but I am in no hurry as I am certainly getting my monies worth!

Same with Sub Command - Great cat and mouse game! Lasts forever real drawn out fun.

I reguarly drag out the "oldies" RA, TA, Warcraft II - haven't tried War III yet.

Cheers Dave Creek

Well I found Monkey Islands 3 & 4 yesterday for cheap, so now that I have the complete collection I'm playing those.

In the mean time I'm still playing Baldur's Gate I:TOSC and BGII:TOB and NeverWinter Nights as well as Morrowind... I always get so far in these games and then reformat for a fresh install of Windows without remembering to back up my games. Kind of annoying.

Last game I actually finished was Icewind Dale or Half life.

Guess I'm an RPG addict huh?

I finished Rune a few weeks ago, found it excellent overall; excellent sound/graphics and good camera despite its third person view. Mind that i'm running a PII350 so "excellent graphics" has its meaning

Right now, I'm more than half through Grandia II, a console-style RPG, and I'm still playing Need For Speed 5 like mad and Killer Loop, a WipeOut-like racing game.

3 YEARS!

*sigh*...I feel even more pathetic now being such an FPS monkey

the last games I played were Gore (sucked), Serious SAM 2 (fast), SOF2 (great, but buggy), JK2 (great) and RTCW (great).

there's 3 of us in my group and we just split the cost of the games and rotate the CD's, or sometimes....

right now, I'm playing America's Army. the missions are excellent. although the public servers can get tiring at times. there's really a valid emphasis on team-play, but you're always bound to have a few Rambos on your team...screws it up sometimes.

Always play my favorite maps in UT online, and usually play against the same people. Finished MOHAA easy mode last week, loved it! Now started over in hard mode, going much slower On another PC in my barn, I have been playing RTCW off & on, currently stuck in 1 level. I'm a newbie at PC gaming, too old! My son is really good, he finished MOHAA in 1 day, and Serious Sam in 2 hours. He's also a clan leader in UT TDM, and in top 3 56K players on the stats.

Most of the time Championship Manager on my cranky Celeron 466. Whenever I get my hands on my girlfriend's computer, it's Warcraft 3. Stopped playing Diablo 2 and Shadows of Amn after I sold my voodoo 3. Badddd decision.

I'm currently playing Rune, not bad for a third-person hack & slash game. Recently finished Serious Sam (first encounter), these two came with 3 other games in a cheap compilation I couldn't pass up.
Recently finished Medal of Honor Allied Assault and Jedi Outcast, both very enjoyable. I've been playing Nox off & on for a long time, not really my cup of tea, but I'm trying to broaden my horizons
I've had Morrowind installed for quite a while, but I don't care much for it. It just doesn't look good enough to be running so poorly. A regretful $50 purchase for certain.
And I've still yet to finish GTA3. Out of curiosity I counted how many PC games I have lying around the other day, it's close to 100. I think I've actually finished maybe 20% of the ones that were designed to be finished.
