Just testing my new pic hosting site here, Im actually going to take some more pics of my fridge. My next fridge will be a full sizer, with seperate freezer and fridge part, I think Ill go get a used one $200.
So far so god though no condensation infact I had a mishap where my board got soaked, dried it still running like a champ.
I think the whole condensation thing was a little more technical then practical, on my next fridge The full size model with freezer/fridge compartments Im keeping drinks and cool ones in side, open it and grab as needed. Ive opened this one so many times while running ect, no problems, just dont open the door wide open and let it sit there for five minutes.

Is that normal? I have some clients in Albany with DSL, and their internet speeds are typically so low that I don't like to download drivers in their offices, because I don't have time (and I'm getting payed by the hour). I know IN THEORY DSL is supposed to be faster than cable modem, but I Don't think that is really the case.
I have no problem with download, my download speed is 1mbit/sec. I had over 4mbit per second when I was on cable, however, Videotron, my cable supplier, has been on strike for the past 4 months.
DSL is a strange beast. In my area its all I can get as far as high speed connection.
Ofcoarse DSL speed is closely related to distance from central office. There are different kinds of accounts aswell. My office total dsl bill is $100 a month and the service is 256 up, and 256 down 256/256 , I rarely use the 256 up so its kindof pointless.
At home my total is $50 a month and I have 128 up and 386 (more like 450-500 actual d/l speed 60-70k bps) down.
I can get 1500 down and 750 up if I pay more, like $150 a month.
Generally I would say 256 down is the norm nation wide. In an office it may be they have 1 386 with 10 users or something. Most of the offices I go to they actually have 768 down, and drivers are a quicky...
Some cable companies in the area rural, its only down, and they have to use a 56k modem for up.
I cant wait till everyone has a 100mb line to each home for TV and Interent. This is the idea of the next 5 years......
Damn FTP, I have my pics loaded on one of my isp(the office one) and I cant figure out what the web address would be, Im fairly stupid when it comes to web stuff, and heavy network jargin
Sad part about that is we(me and partner) are starting a new business.......On the web , and Ill be the "WebMaster" oh hell.......... Ill just do simple updates and page/product updates/add-ons.

Ill tell you this fridge really kicks butt, at first I was all paranoid of condensation. But now its really not much of a factor.
The Big one will be nice, Upstairs(ill buy a older type top freezer bottom fridge, because side by side will be too expensive) Ill have my 8-10 gallon tub of Coolant (good quality RV coolant -50C) down stairs ill house my board and pump. Drives......... Put in door again like this one.
The problem with this one is legth of time. If I run it like 8 hrs straight, the inside where the board is will get pretty warm. It doesnt overheat, but you have to back your video card setting down a bit if you go 8 hrs, as to not overheat.
I typically run it 5 hrs a night and works perfect, but its not a 24/7 machine. Which is not a problem because my daughter comp is 3 feet away, and i can run it 24/7 if need be.
But the big fridge will be a 24/7 machine it will have more then enough cooling compacity for that. This one only has like 3 oz of r134A and the condensor is internal in the walls of the fridge. Big fridge has like 2 lbs of freon. And a huge condesor aircoled on the back.
This one was good for experimental usage and for testing the waters. Ill leave you with yet another pic of "The Fridge"
That little gold dot up above the cdrom drive is a door peep hole, like in your front door, I can look through it, hit the middle button for a light to come on and see whats going on in there
When I was still at school I was getting the best DSL for the price. 768k/768k, phone with caller ID, call waiting, etc... all for $70. Having the fast upstream was awesome for hosting and for running an ftp. It was nice to be able to pull a file or program off my machine at home and get speeds of 80kbytes/sec.
Now I'm back to cable. And although cable modems always boast pretty decent download speeds, the upload is always capped too much for my liking.
The next place I get I'm thinking about getting business class DSL for the better bandwidth and for the static IP(s). I was thinking of picking up a domain name and hosting my own email and web for friends and family. Just something to play around with now that I have some free time on my hands.
