This is quickly becoming very annoying...

I am really dang tired of the stupid ads with bald headed Brian Livingston in them. Who does he think he is? He looks like such a dork.

See the attachment to see what I mean.

When will companies realize that rich meda ads don't do anything good. They take up bandwidth and annoy people.

Google text ads are the best way to keep everyone happy.

I blocked out the side and top ads with Firefox's ad blocker a while ago. Bye bye Mr. Livingston.

It's Mozilla's top browser, available for free download at mozilla.org. The adblocker is an extension you can download, along with many other extensions and skins to customize your browser.

Good info.

I just created a file called userContent.css and I put it in the following location.

C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserId\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\default.xxx\chrome

I then opened up the file and added the following as contents and then closed and saved it.

You can find instructions here:
http://texturizer.net/firefox/adblock.html

No more ads

Thanks!

hmm, I may have to try mozilla when I get home. Unfortunately I can't download it at work, IT people frown on extraneous downloads!

You can run Firefox off a removable drive such as a USB key or zip disk. That way you don't have to download or install anything and you can give the IT people the finger while doing it.

http://texturizer.net/firefox/tips.html#oth_usb

I still prefer Mozilla, though.
