What a Difference a Couple Months Make!

well ive been busy, surprisingly, for the last couple months so i havent done much of anything for updates beside the normal windows automatics.

well a couple tuesdays ago microsoft apparently released hotfixes for the slow file transfer problem and other numerous speed improvements. indeed, my system did seem faster but the real kicker was when i updated to the newest Nvidia drivers for my video card. WOW! media center is now like it used to be with xp- fast, smooth and no glitches. up until now, whenever i brought up a menu in media center, the video would go choppy until the menu faded away. no big deal but annoying.... but its great now, everything just works perfectly.

in fact, i can finally say that my vista machines are 100% on par and better then any xp rig ive had. actually, much better. xp is for those gieco cavemen imo
