Help! Problem with Maxi Gamer Xentor 32MB

I bought a Maxi Gamer Xentor 32MB and after installing the drivers I double clicked the display icon to view my settings and received this message saying " CoCreateInstance failed. Class not registered. " For some reason windows 98 did not recognize my video card. I took out the new one and put back my old ATI video card which I never had any problems and the same thing happened again. It won't recognize my ATI card(PCI) video card anymore. I went through the windows 98 setup all over again and that didn't change a thing. Does anybody know what CoCreateInstance is all about? Is my Maxi Gamer Xentor video card defective?

I uninstalled the ati drivers before installing the drivers for the maxi gamer xentor. I tried the new updated drivers and had problems with it. Half way through the installation it would lock up. Tried the preference drivers from nvidia and the same thing, can't complete the installation, keep on getting error messages.
