KT7 BIOS flash-UL toWZ.b01, Oh yaa, this ones a keeper!!

Finally figured it was about time for a flash, was tired of not being able to use the Turbo setting for my ram. Took my memory scores up to 507/ALU,608/FPU. This is a full 30 points over what I was getting just being able to use the fast setting. I don't think I'll ever be comfortable flashing.

What? You don't like to break out into a sweat wondering if there will be surge or slag in the power lines while you're flashing during those few seconds and wondering if your mobo is going to computer heaven?!

I would like you to know that there is a failsafe for that bios in the event of a bad flash... Here it is

1. Create a bootable DOS floppy using Windows 95 or 98

2. Remove all memory management files from the floppy disk and AUTOEXEC.BAT

3. Download a new version of the BIOS file and copy to the floppy disk (don't use the version which killed your BIOS - it's probably corrupted!)

4. Download a new version of the AWDFLASH.EXE file and copy to the floppy disk

5. Add the line "AWDFLASH newbios.bin /py /cc /sn /cd" to the end of the AUTOEXEC.BAT file (where newbios.bin is the name of new BIOS file)

6. Power off your machine, insert the floppy, power up

7. After five-ten minutes, remove floppy and reboot!

Thanks for the tip Soul Apathy, hopefully I'll never have to use it.
