How do I watermark an image

How do I post pictures on the web and not have them stolen.

I have aprox. 200 photos of high-speed boat races that I would like to post on a website as pictures that can be ordered.

I need to post these pics for people to browse, but have the 'view full page' photos watermarked so they can not be stolen. I have visited corbus.com and I would like to do the same. I know a little creative java-scripting could disable save-photo-as options and so forth, but I feel the watermark would be the safest possibility.

I have MGI PhotoSuite III but apparently that does not support watermarking.

Could someone head me in the right direction?

I believe Photoshop 6 have that capability to put your own watermark.

you can put watermarks into an image using photoshop6, but i beleive that earlier versions can also do it as well.

Don't count on this one for an option. If you stop and think about it for a second, someone could still save the picture with a few simple "round about" steps (and if you don't want to stop and think about it, take my word for it!!)

Thanks, I'll have to run out and get Photoshop 6. I agree that no html or scripting is secure (I've swiped a few images myself), that is why I wanted the watermark embeded into the image.

Thanks again,
Gluck

Definately get Photoshop 6. Simply clicking on the PRINT SCREEN button and pasting into a graphic editing program will copy the image. This whole process takes merely seconds.
